This dining room had stunning features that set the tone for this elegant design. The preexisting ceiling soffit was eye catching; the niche and molding detail, another great feature.
Timeless cream and brown was chosen as the color palette and the transformation was underway. A faux finish was applied to the soffit and niche for drama, as well as to capture and move your eye around the room. We layered rich tones of brown throughout the space to create depth and dimension. A bold patterned area rug anchors the dining table and chairs, and adds excitement. The large dining table that seats eight comfortably is dressed with classic oval back chairs, and is flooded with warm and welcoming light from the stylish chandelier and coordinating wall sconces. Additional accent lighting and a mirror was added to further brighten the space. Lastly, we accessorized with a beautiful place setting, and added a Sacksteder’s Interiors custom floral arrangement as a centerpiece.
To get this look in your own home start off by choosing a smooth and timeless color palette. Next add drama by adding a bold pattern that compliments the chosen wall color.
